One month birthday
So I've been born for four weeks now, aren't I ADORABLE?!!Forgot to tell you about my dr's appointment last thursday. I am up to 8lbs 8ozs, yippee! That's a pound and a half over my birth weight, and I lost some at first, so its pretty impressive. I also hold my head up a little and look around alot, and am generally awesome (or thriving as the DR calls it, but whatever). I had my first shot, which I survived with only a little crying. I'm loving life and meeting my family and friends.

New outfit
This is an adorable outfit my great grammie Hanson sent me. I managed not to get it dirty most of the day. Funny face! ha ha
Been enjoying life, staying awake a little more eating ALOT, and all that jazz. Not to mention causing a lot more laundry with all my cute new outfits and soiling mom's clothes one way pr another.

Being pretty
I have some hand me downs that mama got before Brucie was born and managed to hold onto for two years, ha ha. This is one of the lovely dresses (and was the second outfit of the day since I'm prone to liquidy accidents) Sometimes I'm awake and not eating, not often but sometimes. I have beautiful eyes, don't I? This was my coming home dress mama got at a thrift store. We call it my Chutes outfit because at Chutes (mummi and Papa's restaurant aka "the shop") all the waitresses and Mummi wear denim jumpers.
Preparing for my beauty treatment (aka a wash cloth bath). MMM burt's bees. Please excuse my yucky umbilical cord. I liked my wash down, and even smiled, mom says she knows everyone says babies don't really smile for some certain time in the future, but seriously I smiled. We Stevenses are exceptional.
Conserving energy for my next feeding, modeling my blankie from grammie Barbie.

Introducing Lily
Hi! I'm Gillian (hard G) Elise Stevens. People call me Lily or Gillian. I was born Tuesday May 29th at 6:35am . I was 7lbs at birth and as of friday I was gaining back glouriously and weighed in at 6lbs 15ozs. That's pretty awesome (babies often lose 10% of their weight in the first days and then need to meet it again by 7-10 days old)
This is Cathy, the Nurse Midwife who delivered me, shown here at our home visit. She was fantastic (in mom's opinion) and helped me be born safely. I came super fast once mama arrived at the Ballard House, and it took us all by surprise. What can I say, once I make up my mind to do something, I get it done. :) It's the Leadership genes.
This is the Birth Assistant Mid-wife Lindsay. She was wonderful also. She got us all settled in and then took good care of us afterwards when Cathy had to leave to help another mama somewhere else. My big brother checking me out, he wasn't sure about me at first, but now he loves me.
Papa holding me for the first time, awww.
Cuddling with my daddy
Oh man, this is so the life. Kicking back relaxing with daddy and spidey....
